The KBT Vocational College recently joined the Innovation Circle Network. The institution is located in Trondheim and is providing higher vocational education. A program for studying social entrepreneurship is launched. The training is based on a combination of theory and practice. The KBT are also involved in several international projects and is searching cooperation with the Innovation Circle Network.

During 2023 there were several meeting points between KBT and teachers and professionals from Latvia and Poland arriving from the Innovation Circle cooperation. Entrepreneurs and teachers from Zemgale Planning region, studied social entrepreneurship in Trondheim and Norway.
Social entrepreneurship is a priority for EU. More information can be found at the commission webpage. Social and inclusive entrepreneurship is an additional path for building the welfare system and attractive communities. It creates new jobs and economic growth as well as many important services that are not provided by the local and national governments.
